Who you ride with
A phone, proved on WhatsApp
Everybody who posts a trip, asks for a seat or writes has proved their number.
Reviews from the whole car
Everybody rates everybody else afterwards. Nothing shows until both have answered.
You talk before you travel
Requests go through a chat, so you decide who you share a car with.
Free, all of it
No fee, no subscription, no credits. You settle the share between yourselves.
Yes, all of it. No fee, no subscription, no credits, and no money passes through AlsoGoing. What a seat is worth, if anything, is agreed between you and the other traveller.
No. Nobody on AlsoGoing drives for a fare. It's other travellers who are already going your way, in their own car, van or tuk-tuk, with a free seat to share.
Search a route and a date on the rides page. Anyone who has already posted that trip shows up there, and you message them in the chat to agree on where and when to meet.
No. Browsing trips needs nothing. You'll only need to sign in to message someone or post a trip of your own.
Give it a couple of days. People here are often on buses with no signal for hours. If nobody answers, you're free to ask again or try another trip.
Everyone who messages or posts a trip has a phone number verified over WhatsApp. After a trip, travellers can rate each other, and a rating only shows once enough people have answered for it to mean something.
Post the trip and let people find you, or answer someone already on the road.
